the art of war ...? consider thy enemy ? WTF?
It takes two to have a fight. does that mean, to not fight you get beat up? does it mean you become passive agressive? or manipulative? How will we shift our thinking as we move into the next millenium?
Someone said to me last week, this old phrase Ive been considering for the past several months : "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer".
I have never subscribed to this 'art of war'. I have my own theory that I have lived by and we can consider it here together.
I heard advise from one of my 'brothers in spirit' who is also gnostic, as I. He said that no GENERAL wants to blow up a bridge because you don't want to spend man power re-building it later."
I heard advise from an industry sister who gave details of watching what others are doing so you can 'get ahead of them' and succeed.
Then I opened the door to all and waited to see what happened, for the first time in my life "considering my enemies".
As a young mother I never 'considered my enemies' as far as the pedophiles in the community, I watched my own children. I kept them close and considered our family privacy and connection.
To use my sister's theory, I would have had to take my children to the park where the pedophiles were, and then watched the pedophiles and not so much my children. This art of war does not seem worth my consideration and brings me much less joy than the love of my household did.
I considered the chicken coup and the dreaded fox out back. To maintain the safety of my flock I would be forced to lay wake and guard them, or launch a hunt to destroy the fox. All of which would take my focus off the wily happenings within my hen house. Shall I return to rotten broken eggs and bow legged chicks? Or shall I remove the bridge.

Deleting Jane Doe
Thank you to everyone who gave me the KUDOS on my recent purging; I am glad its given others the courage to do the same.
I revived my long neglected myspace website. As I watched some of my favorite video clips and read some of my favorite quotes, I felt my feathers unruffled and tail unfurl. There was nothing to do but stop and think about what it is that had me tensed over my keyboard for hours upon hours.
A decade a go, when myspace stole my heart I used the platform to connect with like minded people who were there to share, learn, teach, and experience global connections on a personal scale. I was the queen of the 'myspace hoes', and spoke of 'good friends' across the seas in 'real conversations' sharing wisdom from virtual gurus as if they were neighbors to gossip over. As the corporations moved in and sucked out the fun, and 'internet marketers' (I just call them spammers) tried to gain control over passions that happen beneath the roots of the grass in 'grass roots movements'. Once college student only FB came on the scene, the financial interest leveraged what was going on in 'on-line social' arenas and coined the phrase 'social marketing' that leaves a bad taste in the mouth of any serious branding expert. With the ba'gillions of twitter accounts out there we can see how 'deep' these connections go. 140 words or less. Little more than an advertisement.
Not very sociable at all.

I have purged my social sites and they are once again relationship driven, based on to include only those who are as interested in my happiness as I am theirs. I feel a weight lifted, and my perspective balanced. We live in a fast-paced environment. Every click, every eye glance to a new screen, every minute we have THOSE MINUTES are precious.
People who don't care about what I'm interested or involved in don't get to take my time, focus, or eye off those who do.
It is called RECIPROCITY. Tune in to Joe Donlan & Lucy Diamond on Thursday nights and Friday Afternoons. Believe in the magic of your moments, believe in the power that comes with recognizing you have a CHOICE in what your heart TREASURES.

Entering the dangerzone ..
Re-tweeting and re-posting is a courtesy we provide to one another to share relevent information quickly and efficiently. We connect to people who gather, desire, or are the 'relevant and pertinent" based on our individual but collective areas of interest and commonality. There have been times that I have clicked on links sent from those I am connected to and often if it is relevant or pertinent information I will share that with those that are connected to me, you. My favorites to RT are original quotes.
Generally, you know I tweet about my growth and development as a sole proprietor in a competitive industry. The radio station is my pet project and I track and thank everyone who sends listeners. I know who my friends are and I thank you for clicking the link that lead you to this blog. Your click is an encouragement for me to keep blogging, and I hope you share it with your friends if you enjoy it. I look forward to clicking to your links and blogs and portfolios, and sharing them too.
I was browsing through a website today that seemed interesting. In a minds click I would have copied and pasted the link so my twitter followers could see it and enjoy it too, then I noticed the face book update and tweet this links on the site and clicked into them. The familiar twitter icon appeared and a log-in and password entry. I didnt re tweet the site.
To the person who sent me the link, and to everyone else tweeting and re-tweeting out there, content is key. It doesnt matter how many followers you have. It matters how many of them trust you enough to click.
1. Make sure the abbreviated words are identifiable
2. Give credit to #Quotes
3. Pay attention to who you are @ing together in posts make sure it is a conversation
4. Make sure the link you are sending out is live and relevant
5. Check links to be sure they work before moving onto your next posting
6. Delete and Block people to tweet out junk, traps and spam

Vashista Yoga Teacher Training
This is a 4 week intensive course, the maximum strength of students expecting in the course is between 15-17.All our students are from overseas. We provide private room accommodation of each student and serve only vegetarian food. A well expert team of visiting teachers support the teaching in our course ; they are Philosophers, professors, doctors.
The Course center:
All our yoga courses are conducting in a beautiful and peaceful monastery, this monestry is located in a eco friendly village, in South India, kerala state – 100 km from the biggest town Calicut (exact location of this region is name as Wayanad.)

Accommodation in Campus:
The accommodation in course centre is simple and generally single room for each student. The rooms are clean, simple and airy has attached toilet and shower, hot water is available.
Food:
The food is simple vegetarian south Indian diet, it includes various seasonal fruits…and Filtered drinking water is safe for health is freely available in ashram .
Visa Required:
visa is required from most countries to visit India. Foreign students/guests must bring their original passport with a valid visa for India to cover the duration of their stay.
What’s included in the Course fee:
The course fee of 1200 Euro includes all food, lodging, tuition fee, 3 course Manuel, writing books and a pen. Lodging is from 4th Dec to 1st Jan…we will arrange your accommodation.
Course date & Duration:
Yoga teacher training course start on 5th Dec 2010 to 1st Jan 2011. Total duration of course is 4 week, cover 250 hour of education. Weekly one day is free.
Who can join in course?
Age is not at all a bar for our YTTC, Beginners as well as advance can participate in the course.
Registration:
In order to register the course, students has to request for course application form and advance deposit 200 Euro credit in our bank account.
Certification:
Upon the Successful Completion of course, students get international valued certificated.
