media witch hunts and twisted verbiage a thing of the past

There are some who are determined to undermine, and it is sickening. This Cahill Crucifixion happening in Mass is such an injustice. Not only is it costly and embarrassing to the state, its a sham! To take the side of who ever instigated the prosecution  is a blind choice. If anyone was interested in the finances of the state they would be running it better on all levels. (ie the street lights on all day at locations noted in previous posts) and prosecuting clear irrevocable mistakes other leaders have made. I cant believe that no one was held accountable for the big dig scam to cruelly strap tax payers finances. We are still paying that bill here and not the designer (who immediately left the country and has no interest in the longevity of the structure) but they complain about a well thought out and timely advertising campaign?
Tim Cahill made sure there were winners for games and profits for the state. He over saw the manufacture of all the teams, processes and programs that made the state lottery work That is huge. The question is did he deserve recognition for his success? Yes. They gave us someone we could believe in who was capable when they hired Tim Cahill. If we have an opportunity to elect him for another state position I would vote for him. He did what he said he would do. Crucifying the people with integrity for having it is a horrible societal current these days. Who is in charge here?

If you live in mass and do not know whats going on:

http://www.wwlp.com reports "Jurors in the corruption trial of former Massachusetts Treasurer Tim Cahill are set to start their seventh day of deliberations.

On Tuesday, the jury acquitted Cahill's former campaign manager, Scott Campbell, but did not reach a verdict on the same conspiracy charges against Cahill.

Jurors are scheduled to resume deliberations Wednesday morning.

Both men were charged with scheming to use $1. 5 million in advertising for the state lottery to boost Cahill's 2010 independent gubernatorial bid. "

Calling it a corruption trial is manipulative. It is alleged unfair-leveraging to say it accurately in English. My real question is, Who is in power, that has so much power, to be vengefully seeking the crucifixion of his competitor. THAT is the person we need to keep out of office. Where are the REAL journalists? I remember when they were the pillars, the leaders, the heroes.

Gone but not forgotten.

Last spring I was preparing an event called Glycagon Rescue.( Those connected to my pages will remember it  I put so many banners out in my excitement.) Daniel Ouilette and Chuck Williams came out to perform for us, and I got some valuable autographs to auction off for diabetics management/awareness programs. As I was 'working the list' and creating connections with people for the event I came across familiar names; they were friends of a friend. I remembered our mutual friend that had passed away often. The fact that these people, who my friend had held in high esteem did not remember him, was to me, heartbreaking.

I thought, is that what happens when you die? Life goes on and people forget about you? There are so many people in my friends list on my profiles that have passed away. I still wish them happy birthday and a happy holiday on their pages. They were mostly people I held in high esteem or greatly respected for some reason. A great magical person I knew from wales once called me on skype to say that 'only people who have integrity can stand with you.' spirit told him to call me, of all the people in the world I was on his heart, just days before he passed away. So sure, sometimes there are valuable insights to the soul that cause us to remember those that have passed through the veil; but at other times the fleeting moments of a spark passing its light, more often even, They are forgotten too quickly. There is something to be said for the ancestors of old who taught reverence for the dead, respect for the ancestors, acknowledged of their existence. They guide us through the night in our dreams. Listen for them, and remember to remember them. In them, you will find strength that wont soon be forgotten. We don't have to become aware alone. As for me, I will remember those that are not forgotten, even the ones without a social site page.

the good old days revived by a team

Remember the good old days? Eating your Wheaties and admiring Bruce Jenner on the box, running to school imagining the day you would run like a pro? Throwing the football in the back yard with the neighborhood kids and fighting over who was going to be Terry Bradshaw? The days when women baked pies and men held open doors? We thought those days were dead and buried  the memories preserved as if cryonic in our hearts.

The Kansas city chiefs have stepped up remind us of what football heroes and legends are made of.  According to NFL Ian Rapport, the sole survivor of a family tragedy, baby Zoey, will be well provided for by her father's team mates. Zoey's guardian or her estate will receive $108,000 a year through her infancy to cover all pediatric medical expenses. When she is 5, she will receive $48,000, then $52,000 a year until she is 18 or 23, depending on if she goes to college.

God always finds a way to use these life shockers to renew the minds and hearts. Even though Belcher shot Perkins, leaving their only daughter a martyr of the times, the renewed hope and faith in those we hold in high esteem sheds light on the goodness of mankind. Very American of you boys to step up to the plate. I hope you show up at her birthday parties and tell stories of what strong and noble stock she comes from. America is watching; shine on you brilliant heroes, shine!

PALESTINE: Believe with us.

To keep anyone interested, that might  get confused in the near future, try to understand. The over-stressed, uneducated, thirsted and hungry people of Palestine, who can not go from one city to another for supplies, who have no police, and no military, no governors, no judges, no rights, no understanding or teachings but that of the KORAN, believe from the teachings that it is a terrible sin against God and against their loved ones to look upon their dead body or cry upon it. They bury their dead within hours for their belief and available teachings. Stressed and angry and insulted, I implore the people of PALESTINE and their 'block leaders' or 'gang lords' to not react. Know that the world is watching. Our science is more advanced and we rely on it more than religion; but like religion it is TRUTH for us. Beg your leaders, teach your wives and children to be patient and believe in the people of the world so that in turn we can believe in you. The world is watching. If you DO NOT DEFEND YOURSELF the world will not tolerate harm to come to you. Most people are good. Most humans have an earnest desire to give. Most people BELIEVE that world harmony is attainable.

People of PALESTINE: BELIEVE WITH US.

Honor your teachers, your family heads, and your religious leaders. Lay down your stand and allow us to preserve your lives and the lives of your future generations.

The world is sick of your trouble; but it is YOUR TROUBLE. You are in God's hands. Submit to your situation and you will be delivered swiftly. Let  'Do not react' be your mantra. Stay calm and accept what ever your situation is with humility and gladness; and your deliverance will be swift. This exhumation is not to cause you distress. Please brothers and sisters be tolerant and patient with the God of science truth.

Rand Paul attempts to restore the 6th Amendment

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is widely considered a potential candidate for president in 2016. That speculation was fueled by Paul’s statement last week that he would not rule out running in 2016.

He is attempting to filibuster Defense funding unless he gets a vote on an amendment that would curtail indefinite detention of American citizens held without charge. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) wants to allow an open amendment process to the Defense authorization bill.

Reid could have allowed a Defense authorization bill to pass before the November elections, but he was afraid that Republicans would use it as an opportunity to discuss the pending cuts to Defense mandated by the Democrats who are working hard to bring minimum wage up to date with the economic strains on American families.
Prison Planet reported Benjamin Wittes of Lawfare blog reports that a source sent him a copy of an e-mail “apparently from Senator Rand Paul’s office” meant for Republican Senate legislative directors regarding an amendment Paul may propose to this year’s version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). According to the text of the e-mail, the Paul amendment would curtail the president’s power to indefinitely detain American citizens granted under provisions of last year’s law.

Below is the content of the e-mail as published on Lawfare:

From: Henderson, William (Paul)

Sent: Thursday, November 15, 2012 4:54 PM

Subject: Paul amendment to DOD Authorization

GOP LD’s,
It is my understanding that some or all of your offices are being whipped on whether your boss would support a Paul amendment to DOD Authorization concerning the detention of US citizens apprehended on US soil and held by the US military. The proposed text of the amendment is below for your convenience. As your boss is considering the amendment, I wanted to point out that the language of the amendment is derived from the 6th Amendment to the US Constitution (http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/bill_of_rights_transcript.html), and we would ask that your boss support the 6th Amendment rights of American citizens.

Text of proposed Paul amendment:

A citizen of the United States captured or arrested in the United States and detained by the Armed Forces of the United States pursuant to the Authorization for Use of Military Force (Public Law 107-40) shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

And dont you be either. Scores of men and women died so you DONT have to be afraid.

PEERS for Donald Trump

Often times we see the 'crazies' and the 'mis-understood' as lunatics that we as 'normals' have somehow risen above. As we claim license to 'bully' and malign the reputations of others; calling them to the fore-front and forming harsh twisted opinions of them, we must hold ourselves accountable to adult bullying.  We play into the hands of the media moguls when ever they bully anyone just by paying attention.

It is better sometimes to turn the blind-eye and ignore that which we do not understand, do not care to know about, or do not know enough about to respond. In other words, shut-up and watch the moves people make.  There is no need to jump on a band-wagon of any sort, that is, unless you like your life to be like a carnival  in which case you may by all means move on to the next town.

Not many of us can call ourselves PEERS of Donald Trump.

Perhaps we should let the bored and lonely old man have a quiet spot on the playground all of his own. Who knows, maybe he can build a sand-castle or develop a cool new maneuver on the jungle gym, that benefits all. Some might want to keep an eye on him (lest he fall and can' no longer get up alone to say the least of our ole' rooster friend who is no spring chicken.

Watching my favorite celebrity of all time bully Donald Trump (who was not present to defend himself) and suggest his show be taken off air was a sad minute for me. I felt bad for Donald Trump, who is a rich and bored old man. He probably has never known true friendship but for his children, if that. Anyone who knows him wants to borrow the finger with the Midas touch and use him but for a moment. How many people can really understand the stride of his shoe to judge him fairly or accurately?

I do not want to join my idol in bullying Donald Trump with opinions nor draw attention to him with defenses in his name.  I will wait and watch like everyone else.

Though I am putting my money on a young marketer coming up with this latest media flash as an attempt to to keep Donald Trump relevant while placing him in a national political position; maybe it is just a business move. Could there be that little connection from Donald Trump's brain to his heart? He is, after all, human. It can be at the top. Perhaps we should just leave him alone.

My Trip to New York by Lucy Diamond

One of my main concerns on long road trips, (and for me 'long' is anything over 15 minutes away), finding a suitable bathroom is it. Leaving Mass is a breeze, especially on the Eisenhower Road with the lovely rest areas every 14 miles or so. This time we followed the GPS and ended up miles off the highway looking for a 'clean enough' place to stop. Divine providence it was because these ladies can cook!!! This was the craziest awesome Italian lady's BBQ chicken with home-made mashed potato and yams. I sent out pictures of those yams to see who could identify what kind of 'vegetable' it was. No my friends, it was not from a 'tiny Asian penis plant' it was YAMS. They were sweet and amazing.

ANTHONY's 211 South Colony Road Wallingford CT. Great food, great service and authentic accents! Clean, comfortable, and cozy to sum it up.

Three words I can hardly use to describe my visit to Queens. I have no idea what anyone is beeping at all over the place. We saw two guys pull into a parking lot and sit there for 5 minutes getting angrier and angrier at each other for nothing. Why didn't one just let the other go. It made no sense and few people had manners. Feel a sense of community much?

Still, after the delight at Anthony's I determined I would eat whatever was put in front of me and give it a shot. What the hell I was thinking I will never know. As I dug into my fish dinner, paying $18 for 15 cent plate of rice, and fish that may have been caught off the bridge in a net and  was dipped in batter and tossed in a fryer possibly ALIVE. I picked at it looking for meat and avoiding bones I realized it was looking at me! For real, those are batter dipped fish eyes still in it's head. They were on my plate and I did not throw up. I was very happy about that.

Several attempts to develop some sort of goal for what we were shooting, a pilot type of reality thing, interview style, something, were met with the response " go with the flow, Lucy' so I did. I floooooowed.
Wanting shots of herself dancing at a club we headed to a certain area of Queens and sat in the truck's safety for a few minutes observing the area. An unmarked car flew by us followed by no less than a dozen cop cars and what looked like swat vans. We witnessed the biggest drug bust in Queens in years. Lucky me! We headed in the opposite directions and met with DJDeacon. He was a big heart of a Teddy bear and saved the day of production. Check out the video short

The next day as we got ready to dead out to long Island the news was a flurry with the drug bust, then suddenly BREAKING NEWS that a man had jumped over several fences to pet a tiger and was mercifully mauled and not killed. Officials took great care to announce that the tiger was safe, and would not be punished for the mauling in any way.

We met with the family of this brave Shinnecock warrior, visited the 'Out-Post' for a dream catcher and a some Native novelties, and captured some great interview material for the next video. Lucy's field trip to the Shinnecock Nation. Coming soon to Gemjin.com/tv

I heard about an insurance policy that citizens can acquire through town hall that would provide backup coverage, so that if you get sued you have immunity from loosing your house if your policy wasn't sufficient. There is a name for it but I cant remember it to research it more. Anyone have an idea what its called please reply. Thanks.

life is like a box of chocolates

life IS like a box of chocolates
get greedy and you can get sick
partaking of wonders
vast of vary
diverse
not few
process bile stew.

life is like a box of chocolates
contained in one set place
safe keeping first
consumption
destruction
now few

Life is like a box of chocolates
hidden under some thing
time and its wither
length of days to rot
mummified in zanthem gum
worthless dainties of old.

Life is like a box of chocolates
cordial, cherry, or fair
shapes and colors
fillings and casings
surprises
disappointments

Life is like a box of chocolates
momentary delights
half forgotten pleasures

a box full of empty wrappers

Accountability in humility

Holding people accountable for their actions is the most merciful answer; imo, always best.

Whether we like it or not we are all dependent upon one another to play each role we serve because we are all in a society together. When those who do well for us are in place we pay homage and honor to them in various ways. It makes us feel good and  keeps us humble before one another. That keeps society in tact. It is respect.

When someone does harm either of intention or action against the community we feel we must face this truth, speak this truth, and bring it to the attention of the harmful one and anyone who knows them.  Resolve sets in with the belief that people who lead people, people who mark the times of our society and steer humanity into the future, leaders should be held accountable and fingers point.

"Notwithstanding those of us who roam the streets of Boston often talking to ourselves and wondering why random strangers toss coins in our coffee; though 'outcasts' of the society are part of the community. In any case leadership is not expected of these. "

An honored community member or a face on a bustling street, like everyone, it all starts at home. Our own lives, our homes are the very first communities we are a part of. Lead yourself! Self-government is what our fore-fathers called it. It is what we have control over. We face so many battles in these complex times. I often hear of people settling to 'pick and choose their battles wisely' because it seems there are so many battles.
"We are so afraid to loose our jobs that more bullying happens in the office than anyone is seriously willing to admit. Especially minimum wage and low end paying jobs which most of us right now are thankful to have"
There are complex battles of industry and policy and decisions that affect multitudes. They all depend on how the individuals in our society govern themselves at home. Make constant choices of accountability for yourself. Be accountable for your own words and actions.  Hold the people around you accountable for their words and actions. Let accountability humble you.  Allow it to and it will spread like wild-fire. When you hold yourself accountable every moment you never have to fear karma. When you hold others accountable you remove theirs.

You can never force another person to be accountable for themselves.
You must choose for yourself. Each of us must choose where we stand and stand firm while allowing others to do the same. It's okay though because two can not occupy one space. There is plenty of room for everyone on the planet.

Hold yourself accountable with you and your closest relationships and the world will take care of itself.

Good Luck out there, life is hard, keep at it.

Americans are strong because ...

Thank god we were able to get a grip on the wikki leaks thing, and the 99% thing that they used to try to start riots in America. Freedom of speech, individuality, honest self expression, and transparency. THAT is what AN AMERICAN is. We are not riotous ignorant thugs. Even our thugs have honor and codes.

We will NOT have a civil war in the united states.

All of our gangs are strong and organized. They are calm, patient and take orders well. The World will be amazed by how our "militia" stands up. WE WILL NOT BE INVADED. NOT EVER. Americans are Americans .. thats how we get to live in the greatest country in the world. NO ONE WILL PUSH US AROUND, NOR OUR NEIGHBORS.

We will not be invaded EVER as a nation. NOT EVER. Because we are Americans.

All of the third world countries who we have fed and clothed since the birth of our nation. All of the less fortunate that we have served as a nation has been forgotten. They have mistaken kindness for weakness.

The nations of the world that we have held in our bosoms and nursed back to health, stood before in open warfare and sacrificed lives for their freedoms, have taken us for granted. We are your heroes. We are Americans.

We brought your leaders before states and tables of men who are changers of lives bringing opportunity and strength and you spit in our food. We are Americans, We are strong. We do not kill flies with grenades. Be careful whose kindness you trample upon. We do not forget.

For all the starving children of the world Americans will now stand and strengthen their own. you have taken from the well and given nothing. Nations of the world we will pay our debt, we will re brandish our strength, we will stand in unity, we will survive. We are Americans.

Certain nations have gotten too close, and have seen the cracks in the plaster. Big fences make great neighbors they say. We pulled down our fences for mercy and justice and to help the nations of the world. Our pitty has been mistaken for stupidity. Our honor has been bludgeoned with half truths.
They have taught our children that we are the beast that rises up as a lamb omitting the truth that even a lamb fights death in the slaughter house of lies and injustice.

Thanks to US Cambodians, Laotians, Brazilians, Mexicans, English, Irish, German, French, Italian, African families have reason to HOPE. What do they hope for? That their children will make it to AMERICA.

Lies will not slaughter the truth. The truth is WE ARE AMERICANS.

We are black we are white, we are Indians, we are native, we are immigrants, we are from all parts of the world and WE ARE ONE. The only truth is WE ARE AMERICANS.

We do not have to picket and march and make spectacles of our selves. We do not need to air our dirty laundry in public. WE ARE AMERICANS.

We will take charge of new change, of transparency in government and effectuate those changes like the most powerful nation in the world. Because we ARE. We ARE because we are ONE, we are ONE because we are AMERICANS. E PLURIBUS UNIM. That's US!

boring prose type poem

We are the revolution.
We are awake.
Together we will continue.
Together we will stop.
Together we will turn.
As one we will begin again.
All at once we will act as one.

There are no bearings.
We are one fluid mass.
We are the revolution.
We are awake.
We are one.
We  are the smart.
We are the hard workers.
We are the generous.
We are the tolerant.
We are the patient.
We are the strong.
We are the survivors.

We are the revolution.
We are awake.
We are sure.
We are one.
We control the momentum.
We make the uncommon choices.
We live in perpetual acceptance of diversity.
We view in wonderment.
We treasure appreciation.

We are the revolution.
We are awake.
We are the survivors.

Old farts and angels

Half browsing the end caps as I passed the isles on my way to the check out my eye caught the gum, candy and trinkets behind an elderly couple who were being rung up furiously by a young woman in her twenties. I threw the two items in my hand onto the conveyor belt where they waited patiently to be scooped up into a bag. Nothing looked interesting on the shelves so my eyes and attention focused on what was holding me up.

"Two more dollars" the checker girl said; adding "and the thirty cents."
"94-95-96-97" the old woman counted out the very last penny in her hand and then dipped it back to rummage the bottom of her purse.

OMG NOOoooo!!! my mind began to race. My luck had run out! I looked around and saw four cashiers with mile long lines and one was now forming behind me. There was no escape.

"I just spent my money at the grocery store" the old man reminded his dusty mate by unfolding his pocket to reveal the lint as it dropped to the floor. "I don't have any cents on me at all" he added.  He reached behind him and began the laborious task of removing his wallet from his pocket as 'the Mrs' continued to jungle things about at the bottom of her purse.

"Dear God" my mind raced as my face got red and I considered leaving the item on the conveyor belt and heading for the door; but all of a sudden my mind stopped. I did have but just one extra dollar in my pocket after the cost of my items.

With my luck I knew they could be angels out testing humans. I could go on with my attitude and killed in a car wreck on the way home with my final testimony in the book of life being from these two! I threw the dollar on the table and they thanked me profusely.
"I just went to the grocery store with her and you know how that is" the man began to explain to me as he pried two quarters out of a 'secret compartment' in his wallet. Just then, the cashiers apologetic look melted and a most beautiful glow radiated from her smile.

Choose to do good, even when you don' t feel like it. You never know where the angels stand, but in your heart you will know their testimony.

glory days

Everyone equally has good days and bad days as we glide along the currants of our lives. We all suffer from the same human condition with its life changing events and accomplishments.
They become beacons on the river-way in our memory. In sales industry corners the 'good days' are pointed out and reminded to younger sales power. They call them 'Glory Days' because for one hour, or one minute of that day, you are in your 'glory'. Good sales people, who stay in the industry for decades have epic memories of a few such days through their career. (and usually reminisce of them often)  It is the high they are chasing regardless of how deep the valleys.
Unfortunately, not all life changing events are the 'highs' to positively charge our regular currant of life. Interference can happen in a second two. It takes one random moment, and that moment is often long remembered too; even when all the other memories fade.
As we glide through the waters of our lives we must take pause and glory for a moment in the knowledge that all the rivers merge. One ocean of humanity trickling along independent streams heading back to the source from whence we came.
